Ronald W. 'Ron' Glanzer

LONGMONT, COLO. -- Ronald W. "Ron" Glanzer, 67, died Tuesday (Feb. 11, 2003) at Longmont United Hospital in Longmont, Colo.

He was born March 15, 1935, to George and Bertha (Riepe) Glanzer in Waterville, Kan. He was a graduate of Arapahoe High School.

On May 20, 1956, he married Ruth D. Monter in Arapahoe. He owned and managed Cash-Wa Distributing of North Platte. He retired in 1990 and moved to Longmont.

He was a member of the Grace Evangelical Free Church of Longmont and the Sertoma Club of Kearney and North Platte. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Longmont; two daughters, Kathy and husband, Bob Buschman of Englewood, Colo., and Cindy and husband, K. Dean Snell of Olathe, Kan.; two brothers, Harlan and wife, Ellen Glanzer of Norfolk and Bob and wife, Wanda Glanzer of Kearney; one sister, Marilyn Glanzer of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be Monday, 11 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe. Cremation will be at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Longmont with a private inurnment at the Arapahoe Cemetery.
