TRENTON -- Charles L. Nealeigh, 91, died Wednesday (March 19, 2003) at the El Dorado Manor in Trenton.
He was born Nov. 29, 1911, in Hitchcock County, to William and Amy (Perkins) Nealeigh. He grew up in the Cornell Community where he graduated from rural school.
On Feb. 28, 1935, he married Ruth Duckworth at Trenton. They spent their married lives farming south of Trenton. He has resided at the El Dorado Manor since March of 2002.
He was a member of the Church of God in Trenton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Orville Nealeigh and Carl Nealeigh; and four sisters, Mary Terrell, Myrtle Cole, Blanche Cole and Alice Nealeigh.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Trenton; three daughters, Roberta and husband, Roger Cross of Fountain Hills, Ariz., Yvonne and husband, Jim Garner of Trenton and Norma Nealeigh of Chadron; one brother, Lloyd Nealeigh of Hastings; one sister, Florence Frakes of Trenton; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at the Church of God in Trenton with Ken Nealeigh officiating. Interment will be in the Cornell Cemetery at Trenton.
