OBERLIN -- Agnes Brown, 94, died Friday (March 21, 2003) at the Decatur County Good Samaritan Center in Oberlin.

She was born Jan. 28, 1909, in Herndon to Adam and Theresia (Ecker) Wahrman. She attended Bolte School and Herndon High School.

On April 14, 1942, she married Charles Brown at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church in Herndon. She was a farm wife and homemaker. She resided in Herndon until moving to the Decatur County Good Samaritan Center in Oberlin.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oberlin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles in 1982; brothers, Joseph, Mathias, Herman, Nicholas, Clement, Lewis, and three infant brothers; and sisters, Elizabeth and one infant sister.

Survivors include a daughter, Charlene and husband, CJ Sharpe of Scott City, Kan.; one brother, Clarence Wahrman of Goodland, Kan.; three sisters-in-law, Lida, Charlotte and Lillian Wahrman; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at the Herndon Cemetery at Herndon.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be given in her name.

Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin is in charge of arrangements.
