Angie L. Puelz, 95, died Thursday (April 3, 2003) at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook.
She was born Feb. 15, 1908, to Charles Stanley and Amanda (Walters) Thompson at Indianola. She attended Indianola Public Schools and graduated in 1926. She also attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and graduated in 1932. She taught drama and history for 42 years in secondary education.
On Dec. 3, 1933, she married Paul Lyle Peterson at Morningside, Iowa.
She then married Loton Puelz on Dec. 24, 1950 at McCook. She served as president of the Federated Women's Club, president and secretary of the Harrison-Martin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 5218, secretary and Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, and past member of TTT.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and both husbands. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Ann Falls of Lincoln; one brother, Charles F. Thompson of McCook; and three grandchildren.
Private family services will be Monday, 11 a.m., at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home. A private burial will in Cedar Grove Cemetery at Indianola.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and until time of service on Monday.
