INDIANOLA -- Judith Darlene Malleck-Keith, 57, died Friday (April 4, 2003) at the Great Plains Medical Center in North Platte.
She was born Jan. 28, 1946, at McCook to James John and Genevieve Elizabeth (Powers) Malleck. She graduated from Indianola High School in 1964 and from McCook Beauty Academy in 1986.
On Jan. 21, 1977, she married Randy Joe Keith at McCook. They made their home in Indianola where she was self-employed as a beautician.
She was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church and Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Genevieve Powers-Malleck; and two brothers James Marvin and Thomas Roger Malleck.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Joe Keith of Indianola; sons, Scott Cornelsen and wife, Sarah, of Westminster, Colo., and Travis Lee Keith of McCook; daughter, Judeen Jayne Cornelsen of West Point; brothers, Lonnie Vincent Malleck and wife, Laura Jo, of Syracuse, Kan., Phillip Keith Malleck of Indianola, and Dennis LeRoy Malleck and wife, Marilyn, of Ness City, Kan.; sisters, Vonda Kay Parrott of Lincoln, Jane Marlene and husband, Danny Bahl of Indianola and Jeannine Marie and husband, Joe Reed, of Lincoln; and two grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, at 10 a.m., at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola with the Rev. Nicholas Baker officiating. Inurnment will be in the St. Catherine's Cemetery.
Rosary will be Monday, at 7 p.m., at Carpenter Funeral Home in Indianola.
There will be no visitation. Friends may sign her book at the rosary or service.
Memorials may be given in her name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Nebraska Chapter.
