Mary B. Bustamante, 78, died Saturday (April 4, 2003) at Sunset Haven Nursing Home in Curtis.
She was born Feb. 1, 1925, in Los Angeles, Calif. Her early years were spent in Los Angeles and she grew up at Sioux City, Iowa.
On Oct. 11,1986, she married Eulalio Bustamante at Colorado Springs, Colo. They spent their married lives in Colorado Springs until the death of her husband in 1996. In 1997, she moved to McCook where she resided until moving to the assisted living section of Sunset Haven Home in Curtis.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of McCook Survivors include three sons, Kyer Eugene Bustamante and husband, Richard of New York City, N.Y., Tom Enriquez of Bailey, Colo., and Patrick Bustamante and wife, Linda of Colorado Springs; two daughters, Barbara and husband, William Glass of Buckeye, Ariz., and Eva Lopez of Colorado Springs; one daughter-in-law, Rebecca Bustamante of Lincoln; one sister, Eva Frost of Sioux City; one brother, Bob of Sioux City; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, 2 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in McCook with the Rev. Stan Hendershot officiating. Interment will be Tuesday, 1:30 p.m., in the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colo.
