STRATTON -- Wilma E. Schleeman, 90, died Friday (April 25, 2003) at her home in Stratton.
She was born Sept. 19, 1912, in Kremling, Colo., to Herman and Nettie (Wessel) Ahrens.
On July 6, 1927, she married George Schleeman. They spent most of their lives in McCook. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; four sons, Herman, Albert, Alferd and Robert Schleeman; three grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; and three brothers, Francis, Alferd and William Ahrens.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Schleeman of Cambridge and Teddy Schleeman and wife, Georgia, of Stratton; five daughters, Donna Drews of Lincoln, Patricia and husband, Stanley "Jiggs" Kotschwar, of Stratton, Raymaunda and husband, Jimmy Koons of Ocelota, Okla., Georgia and husband, Dan Longley, of Lincoln, and Sharon and husband, Bery Gummere, of Stratton; 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Monday, 2 p.m., at Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook with Jerry Beckenhuer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Sunday, 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Monday morning until noon.
Memorials may be given in her name.
