Thomas "Tom" Wayne Fawver, 52, died Friday (April 25, 2003) at Community Hospital of McCook.
He was born Aug. 3, 1950, at Eugene, Ore., to Donald Wayne and Helen E. (Vessells) Fawver. He attended school at Belle Fourche, S.D. He came to the McCook community in 1992. He was a self-employed craftsman.
He was a member of the McCook Eagles Club and was active with fund raising with various charities.
A step-brother, Michael Ziebert, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his father, Donald Fawver and wife, Gladys, of Vancouver, Wash.; his mother, Helen and husband, Jim Ziebert, of Salem, Ore.; companion, Betty Lewin of McCook; two sons, Bradley Fawver of Reno, Nev., and Patrick Fawver and wife, Tacie, of McCook; two daughters, Tammy and husband, Lee Ridenour and Amy and husband, Dan Jones, all of McCook; brother, Mel Fawver of Salem, Ore.; step-brothers, Dan Ziebert and wife, Debbie, of Turner, Ore., and Frank Ziebert and wife, Faye, of Salt Lake City, Utah; sisters, Susan Sanders of Springfield, Ore., and Letitia Jaurez of Florida; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services are Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Brethour officiating. Cremation will follow services and inurnment will be held at a later time.
Rosary will be Tuesday, 7 p.m., at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook.
Visitation is Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday morning until time of service.
Memorials may be given in his name.
