No need for insults
Dear Editor:
First off, how did you decide to use the American Indian/Native American theme for your article? (Which Indian are your cheering for?, Renee Bottom, Tuesday, Nov. 5.)
This article shows you to be very insensitive ..I'm truely trying to understand why a person would feel the need to insult the ways of another culture . We are still alive and very true to the ways of our traditions. To mock a culture without thinking of how we would feel is irresponsible.
The cycle of prejudice can only stop if we first think of how others will view what we do or say. For the future generations to understand how not to be prejudice, we, the adults should step up to the plate and show strong leadership in conquering prejudice, not show others how to be prejudice. Looking forward to your reply.
