The Samson option

Last fall 29 Democratic senators voted with the Republican senators to give President Bush carte blanche to go to war with Iraq. These included Sen Tom Daschle, Senator Ted Kennedy, Senator Joe Biden and 26 other Democratic senators. Why did they vote "yes" then? Because, through intelligence briefings, they know that Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction and he intends to use them.

On the Sunday night news a week ago, our own representative Tom Osborne, said, "We know he has these weapons and we have to do something." Why are these same senators dragging their feet now? Has anything changed?

Why are France, Germany, Russia, China and North Korea dragging their feet? If you were in business, would you want to see one of your largest customers destroyed? These nations have been selling Iraq billions of dollars worth of weapronry and that means jobs and profits. Hmmm.

Bible prophecy is being fulfilled right before our very eyes. In a previous letter I mentioned that, " A great nation (the U.S.A.?) shall come from the ends of the earth and lead a host of nations against Babylon (modern day Iraq)." However in Jeremiah 50:45b it says, "Surely the least of the flock (of nations) shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitation desolate with them."

Is not Israel a tiny nation with only a little over 6,000,000 citizens? surrounded by hundreds of millions of Arabs in the nations surrounding it? Saddam Hussein wants to destroy Israel and become the modern day Nebuchadnezzar who conquered the world 2500 years ago. But such a tiny nation is rated as having the 4th greatest Army, Navy and Air Force in the world. If attacked by Saddam Hussein they will have no choice but to use "the Samson option" and unleash their arsenal of nuclear weapons against Iraq.
