Positive answers

Dear Editor,

Being a voter seems to call for one that is godlike, respectful of humanity and appreciative for fairness to all. Those are big shoes for each eligible voter. This position also goes for all of us who express our opinions by presenting facts in a short, concise and accurate manner to the McCook voter who lives in a community where everyone "knows" who is doing what, etc.

We have read the facts. Upon looking at the facts, Tuesday's voter is confronted with a sales tax issue that appears to have gone beyond the question of if it is needed. May we consider Yes for Sales Tax as a tool to make this a better community. May frustration and unsettling opinions reach positive answers. May we take our community seriously and at the same time respect the humor in humanity.
