Phil and Teresa Pierce of Ogallala announce the engagement of their daughter, Piper Jo, to Thomas Robert Krause, both of Lakewood, Colo. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Steve and Joan Krause of Ogallala. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Edward Geier of Culbertson, the late Berneita Geier and Ted and Jeannine Pierce of Stratton. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ogallala High School and a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She is employed with AmFirst Bank in Denver, Colo. The prospective bridegroom is also a graduate of Ogallala High School and the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a bachelor of science degree in construction management. He is a superintendent with Amber Homes of Aurora, Colo. The couple is planning an Aug. 3, 2002 ceremony at St. Lukes Catholic Church in Ogallala
