Stratton church site of vows

STRATTON -- Julie Renee Henderson and Jarrod Lee Hilker were united in marriage April 6, 2002, at the Christian Union Church in Stratton with the Rev. Dr. Daniel Marshall officiating.

Parents of the couple are Gary and Beverly Henderson of Stratton and Terry and Tammie Hilker of McCook.

Grandparents of the couple are June Henderson of Iota, La., Warren and Rose Harrison of Stratton, Cleo Harrison of Imperial, the late Ivan and Alice Morton of Oberlin and the late Theodore and Elsie Hilker and McCook.

Cara Pruter of Laramie, Wyo., served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cassie Miller of Kearney, and Lori Peters and Robin Campbell, both of McCook.

Darren Pollman of McCook served as the best man. Bridegroomsmen were Scott Propes and Luke Krizek, both of McCook, and Kyle Wilcox of Lincoln.

Mallarie Fila, niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl. Milan Harrison, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.

Isle runner attendants were Bryce Landgraf, cousin of the bridegroom and Stratton Harrison, cousin of the bride.

Candlelighters for the ceremony were Jordyn Fila, niece of the bridegroom, and Becca Landgraf, cousin of the bridegroom.

Ushers for the ceremony were Ted, Joey, and Josh Henderson, all of Stratton, brothers of the bride, and Blake Bethell of McCook.

Andrea Gift of Holyoke, Colo., was the soloist and Anita Propes of McCook served as the guestbook attendant.

The honor couple was Les and Ruby Leochner of Ludell.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Stratton High School and a 2001 graduate of McCook Community College with a degree in business administration. She is employed with Wells Fargo Bank in McCook. The bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of McCook High School and a 1994 graduate of Southeast Community College in Milford with a degree in auto body technology. He is employed at Terry's Auto Repair in McCook.

The couple is making their home in McCook.
