McFarland, Lawson wed in summer ceremony

NORTH PLATTE -- Jody Jeanelle McFarland of Maxwell and Travis Dee Lawson of Tigard, Ore., were united in marriage July 20, 2002, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in North Platte, with the Rev. Fred Simon officiating.

Parents of the couple are Robert and Roselyn McFarland of Maxwell and Gaylord and Debra Lawson of Hayes Center.

Honored guests were grandparents, Elnora Krueger of Kingdom City, Mo., Dorothy McFarland and Dale and Susie McFarland, all of North Platte.

Sara Buntermeyer was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Lawson, Amy Rasmussen, Rachel Martin, Gayle Olson and Gwen Sterup, all sisters of the bridegroom.

The best man was Bret Lawson, brother of the bridegroom and the bridegroomsmen were Brian and Greg McFarland, brothers of the bridegroom.

Molly Deaver served as the flower girl and Michael Jensen was the ring bearer.

Ushers were Jayson Bishop, Nolan May and Cory Dziowgo.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a degree in business administration. The bridegroom is a project engineer for Howard S. Wright Construction Company.

The couple is making their home in Tigard, Ore.
