Late summer wedding unites couple
Andrea Ambrose of Hershey and Todd Cappel of McCook were united in marriage on Aug. 30, 2002, at St. Patrick's Church in McCook with the Rev. Raymond Hain of Lincoln officiating and John Mabile of McCook as the acolyte.
Parents of the couple are Dick Ambrose of North Platte, Jackie and Dennis Ginther of Lafayette, Colo., and Dick and Kathie Cappel of McCook.
Grandparents of the couple are Phyllis Ambrose of Fairbury, Ill., Dorothy Roth, Garnett Ginther, Loretta Cappel and Lorna Trupp, all of McCook.
The matron of honor Kassie Pelster of Elsie. The bridesmaids were Tana Ambrose of North Platte, sister-in-law of the bride, Lisa Bakke of Bellevue and Sarah Stone and Jill Miyoshi, both of Lincoln.
The best man was Bill Cappel of McCook, cousin of the bridegroom. The bridegroomsmen were Josh Cappel, brother of the bridegroom, Cory Skleba of Wilber, Justin Osborne of Hastings and Chris Caton of Omaha.
The flower girls was Bailey Kool of McCook and McKinzee Ambrose of North Platte, both nieces of the couple. Bryson Kool of McCook, nephew of the bridegroom, served as the ringbearer.
Altar servers for the ceremony were David Cappel and Matthew Cappel of McCook, cousins of the bridegroom.
Ushers for the ceremony were Scott Ambrose, brother of the bride, Nick and Alex Bauer of Lincoln, cousins of the bride, and Paul Sather of Aberdeen of S.D., and Mark Kool of McCook, brother-in-laws of the bridegroom.
The organist was Mike Joyce of Cleveland, Ohio, uncle of the bridegroom. The soloist was Josh Minarik of Clearwater.
The reception was at Red Willow County Fairgrounds community building. Host couples were Kim and Randy Bauer of McCook and Clay and Nancy Calhoun of Elizabeth, Colo. The guestbook attendants were Kathy Myers and Gina Roedel, both of Lincoln.
The bride is a McCook Community College graduate and a graduate of Lincoln School of Commerce. The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
The couple is making their home in Scott City, Kan.
