Couple unite in Texas ceremony

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas -- Ashley LaChelle Rose of Highland Village, Texas and David Neil Snodgrass of Del Rio, Texas were united in marriage Jan. 4, 2003, at Shady Grove Baptist Church in North Richland Hills, Texas with Rev. Tom Watson officiating.

Parents of the couple are Craig and Cyndia Rose of Highland Village (formerly of McCook) and Neil and Jenny Snodgrass of North Richland Hills.

Grandparents of the couple are Darrel and Elda Youngs and Ray and Ardyce Rose, all of McCook, Ken and Clara Clendening of Eustace, Texas and Ray and Ocie Snodgrass of Perryton, Texas.

The matron of honor was Mindy McGrew of Lincoln. The bridesmaids were Sara Carstens, Kelly Johnson, Jennifer Dunlap and Lauren Snodgrass, sister of the bridegroom. The junior bridesmaid was Julia Smith.

The best man was Brian Snodgrass of Houston, Texas, brother of the bridegroom. The bridegroomsmen were Matthew Minkley, Brain Stacy, Josh Schecht and Seth Rose, brother of the bride. The junior bridegroomsman was Paul Smith.

The flowergirl was Brynna Gillenwater, cousin of the bridegroom and the ringbearer was Jacob Mitchell, cousin of the bride.

Ushers were Nathan and Jason Smith.

Music was provided by pianists Karen and Kristen Isham and the soloists were Lani Stacy and Terry Finnigan. Music was also provided by Jesse Curtis on the hammer dulcimer.

The bride was welcomed in the Air Force and the couple recessed through the Sabre Arch performed by the Sabre Flight Drill Team of Texas Tech University.

The reception was at the Lancaster Theater in Grapevine, Texas.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.

They are making their home in San Antonio, Texas at Randolph Air Force Base until June, when they will be at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas, where the bridegroom is a T-6 Instructor Pilot.
