Travel policies on school board agenda

McCook Public Schools board of education will accept a $1,000 gift for the preschool from Wells Fargo and discuss student travel policies and the West Ward school site during its regular board meeting Tuesday, at 5:30 p.m., in the junior high conference room.

Board members will also consider approval of the 2002-2003 negotiated agreement with the McCook Education Association. Other agenda items are: new policies regarding board meetings, the appointment of a delegate to the Nebraska Association of School Boards assembly, Phase 5/goal-setting, a resolution authorizing signatories on all bank accounts, items for discussion from Superintendent Dr. Don Marchant, a kindergarten teacher presentation; and a report from the MHS Student Council.
