Centralaires in concert

The McCook Centralaires, a select choir of 5th and 6th graders were chosen, by audition, to perform for the State Music Educator's Convention and Clinic Friday, Nov. 22, in the Lincoln Holiday Inn Ballroom. Area residents are invited to a concert of the same program Monday, Nov. 18, at Memorial United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. Members of the group are Megan Agualla, Hailey Buddenberg, Abi Burrows, Eric Chalupa, Caitlyn Conroy, Creighton Crosby, Emily Dueland, Brenden Funk, Ryan Hardin, Kaylee Henrichson, Shalynn Holliday, Katie Latta, Kali Lyons, Danae McCorkle, Christine McRay, Kayla Messinger, Atheana Parde, Kelsey Pohl, Aaron Ruppert, Stephen Smock, Naomi Sughroue, Victoria Wageman, Brianna Watkins and Katherine West. Seventh graders who were given the option to remain a part of the group for this special honor (since they performed on the original audition tape) are: Casey Cobb, Sarah Craw, Kendell Foster, Tenielle Lytle, Amanda McPhillips, Maggie Sanders and Chelsea Svoboda.
