Quilt raffle

Thursday, January 23, 2003

Randy Korgan (left) of McCook National Bank and Andrew Howell hang a one-of-a-kind BISON quilt in the bank lobby in downtown McCook. Andrew designed the quilt; his mother, Deanne, and aunt, Deb Crawford, created the quilt. Proceeds from a raffle of the quilt will help pay for McCook High School Art Club activities. The quilt will hang at McCook National through Friday and then move to AmFirst until Feb. 5. The winner of the raffle will be drawn during half time of the Gothenburg basketball game Saturday, Feb. 8. One ticket costs $1; six tickets cost $5 (or 24 for $20). Tickets are available at the banks or from Art Club members. Winners need not be present to win.
