National Day of Prayer

The Rev. Barnhill of St. John's Catholic Church in Cambridge, offered a message on virtue overcoming vice as part of his remarks Thursday during the National Day of Prayer observance at Memorial United Methodist Church. Barnhill, who is also a major with the Nebraska Air National Guard, was joined by Doug Skiles of McCook who led intercessory prayer for leaders of the nation, state, county and city. Kathy Latta, accompanied by Marie Coffey, sang Blessed Jesus and a light lunch was served following the service.
