Bob Funk of Culbertson will display his 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback (shown above in a computer-stylized "watercolor" photograph) during the Ray Moffitt Memorial Car Show Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., in Barnett Park south of McCook along the Republican River. Funk is the original owner of the classic Mustang, equipped with a 390-cubic-inch engine and a four-speed. Car show organizer Terry Sitzman of McCook will award trophies to the top street rods and classics. motorcycles and vehicles owned by exhibitors 21 years old and younger. The grand prize will be the "Ray Moffitt Memorial Trophy." Lunch will be available in the park, prepared by the Untouchables softball team.
