GOODLAND, Kan. -- Kathryn Louise Brim, 69, died Tuesday (July 1, 2003) at Goodland Regional Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 18, 1933, at Longmont, Colo., to Glen and Thyrza (Woodcock) Knaus. She graduated from high school in Longmont.
On July 27, 1957, she married John Joseph "Jack" Brim at St. John's Catholic Church in Longmont. From 1957-1978 they lived in McCook, and then in 1978, they moved to Goodland.
She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Goodland.
Preceding her in death were her father, Glen Knaus; her husband, Jack Brim; and her brother, Skip Knaus.
Survivors include her two sons, Mark Brim and wife, Sharon of Omaha and Steve Brim of Loveland, Colo.; two daughters, Linda and husband, Terry Bahe of Goodland and Deanna and husband, Greg Newell of Ulysses, Kan.; mother, Thyrza Knaus of Goodland; one sister, Gwen Kauffroath of Bremerton, Wash.; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 10 a.m. (MDT), at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Goodland with the Rev. Daryl Olmstead officiating. Burial will follow at the Goodland Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Koons Funeral Home in Goodland and at the church before the service.
Memorials may be given in her name to Hospice Services of Sherman County.
