William G. "Bill" Clark, 74, died Monday (July 1, 2003) at Community Hospital of McCook.
He was born Dec. 27, 1928, at White, to Earl N. and Katherine E. (Jewel) Clark. He graduated from El Monte High School, El Monte, Calif., in 1946.
On Jan. 19, 1949, he married Glora P. Scott at Atwood. To this union one son, Stephen, was born. They farmed in Hayes County until 1958, when they moved to McCook. He was employed by Fairacres Dairy, Ranchers Building Materials, and retired from Wheelers in 1995.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Earl and Katherine Clark; one sister, Mildred Richter; and two brothers, Clayton and James Clark.
Survivors include his wife, Glora Clark of McCook; son, Stephen Clark of McCook; two brothers, Robert Clark of Eugene, Ore., and Kenneth Clark and wife, Charlotte, of Santa Barbara, Calif.; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday until 5 p.m. and Friday 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Memorials may be given in his name.
