TRENTON -- Joanne Carol Lund, 47, died Saturday (July 19, 2003) at Bryan LGH East Hospital in Lincoln.
She was born April 22, 1956, to Carl and Audrey (Johnson) Jacobson in Farmington, Minn. She grew up in Denver, Colo., where she attended Lincoln High School and later received her GED.
On March 3, 1973, she married James Roger Lund. The couple made their home in Denver where she was active in the community and volunteer activities with the Food Bank of the Rockies. In 2001, the couple came to Trenton, where she spent the remainder of her life.
Survivors include her husband, James of Trenton; one son, James Lund and wife, Lena of Loveland, Colo.; two daughters, Melissa Cardenas and husband, Roberto of Commerce City, Colo., and Marian Lund and fiance, Fred Carpenter of Thornton, Colo.; her mother, Audrey Hart and husband, Harold of Des Moines, Wash.; step-mother, Carmen Jacobson of Trenton; two brothers, Gene Jacobson and wife, Shawn of Thornton and Ronnie Jackson and wife, Susan of Riverside, Calif.; seven sisters, Becky Sheffield and husband, Timothy of Henderson, Colo., Carlene Gonzales, Sharon Smith and husband, Jeff and Susan Weaver and husband, Greg, all of Seattle, Wash., Barbara Jackson of Parker, Colo., Janice Meyers of Denver and Linda Felder and husband, Mark of Plano, Texas.
Services are Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at United Methodist Church in Trenton with the Rev. Dan Spearow officiating. Interment will be at the Trenton Cemetery.
