BEAVER CITY -- Eunice E. Skinner, 88, died Sunday (Aug. 17, 2003) at Community Hospital of McCook.
She was born July 26, 1915, to Perly and Clara (Bishop) Maybon in rural Beaver City. She attended country school at District 86. She graduated from Beaver City High School in 1933. She attended Kearney State Teachers College for two years.
On Oct. 18, 1955, she married Gene Skinner in Kearney. The couple made their home on a farm northeast of Beaver City, where they farmed until 1992.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver City.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Gene of Beaver City; one son, Russell and wife, Kay Fender of Kissismmee, Fla.; and three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are Saturday, 1:30 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver City with the Rev. Darin Bentzinger officiating. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemtery in Beaver City.
Visitation is today until 8 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m., at the Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City and prior to the services at the church.
