Ecker, Bodeman recite vows in summer ceremony

Misty Dawn Ecker and Joshua Bodeman, both of McCook, were united in marriage July 5, 2003, at the Evangelical Free Church in McCook with the Rev. Bruce Lester officiating.

Parents of the couple are Cheri Ecker and Matt Ecker, both of Fort Collins, Becky Bodeman of McCook and Kirk Bodeman of Hayes Center.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Curtis and Wanda Bodeman and Gene and Dorothy Terry.

The maid of honor was Sara Stewart of McCook. Libbi Harsh of Kansas City, Kan., was the bridesmaid.

The best men were Shawn Winder of Billings, Mont., and Robert Stewart of McCook.

The flower girl was Jacey Ecker of Fort Collins. The candlelighters were Matthew Ecker and Derek Bodeman.

Ushers for the ceremony were Matthew Ecker, Derek Bodeman and Blake Bodeman.

The organist for the ceremony was Michelle Leigh. The soloist was Jacey Ecker.

The reception was at the Poolside Chief Hotel. The guestbook attendant was Joseph Ecker and the reception assistant was Brenda Leigh.

The bride and bridegroom both received their association of arts degree from McCook Community College and plan on continuing their education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

The couple is making their home in Kearney.
