Couple united in late spring ceremony

CULBERTSON -- Angela Morthole and Shane Godtel were united in marriage May 3, 2003, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Culbertson with the Rev. Dan Spearow officiating.

Parents of the couple are Riley and Karen Morthole of Culbertson and Ramon and Gloria Godtel of Arcadia.

Grandparents of the couple are Harley and Hilda Morthole, Cora Meyers, Harry and Gladys Godtel and Tena Wimer.

The bride wore a full, white, strapless taffeta gown with sequins and pearls sewn on. She wore a silver and pearl headpiece with an elbow length veil, and carried a bouquet of sixteen lavender and white long-stem roses with ribbons.

The maid of honor was Pat Timmons of Rogers, Ark., aunt of the bride. The bridesmaids were Kara Conner of Altoona, Iowa, Stephanie Dagerman of Omaha, Emily Walters of Omaha, Lynn Kratky of Ogallala and Jessica Godtel of Lincoln, sister of the bridegroom.

The best man was Anthony Godtel of Norfolk, brother of the bridegroom. Bridegroomsmen were Bryan Hawley of Arcadia, David Hughes of Palm Dessert, Calif., Justus Brown of San Francisco, Calif., Mike Ziegler of Lincoln and Brody Halsey of Lincoln.

Flowergirls were Katie and Becky McConnell of Aurora, Colo., cousins of the bridegroom. The ring bearer was Colin Brewster of Butte, cousin of the bridegroom.

The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The bride is a graduate of McCook Community College and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a bachelor of science degree in human resources and family sciences. She is employed a the University of Nebraska Credit Union in Lincoln.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University of Lincoln and has a bachelors degree in sport management. He is the assistant director of stadium operations at Haymarket Park in Lincoln.

The couple is making their home in Lincoln.
