Groundbreaking ceremony
Dignitaries turn over wheat stubble this morning, preparing for the construction of an ehtanol plant two miles east of Trenton. The production of ethanol at the Trenton Agri Products LLC plant is expected to begin June 1, 2004, at an initial rate of 30 million gallons a year, using approximately 12 million bushels of corn and/or milo each year. The plant will employ about 30 people.
