Business substitute on agenda

Monday, August 11, 2003

McCook school board members will discuss a substitute for the business teacher at the high school during their regular board meeting Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., in the junior high conference room.

On the agenda is consideration of a contract for retired MHS business teacher Paul Forch, who was hired last school year when the current teacher, Dean Reicks, was activated by the Nebraska National Guard to serve in the Iraqi war. Board members will also consider a contract for Debra Anderson, who will teach special education, and discuss local substitute certificates.

Board members also plan a public hearing to approve board policy on student fees.

Other agenda items are: discussion of the grant-writer's contract, staff member and committee reports and a closed session to discuss personnel and collective bargaining.
