Emergency personnel from Indianola and McCook attend to victims of a two-car accident just before noon Friday, at the Republican Valley High School intersection on U.S. Highway 6-34 east of McCook. Nebraska State Patrol Trooper Scott Zehr reported that cars driven by Lawrence Kentfield, 74, of Beaver City, and Faune Kinne, 15, of McCook, collided when Kinne attempted to turn north off U.S. Highway 6-34 toward the school. Kentfield was westbound when the two cars collided. Kentfield and Kinne were transported to Community Hospital of McCook, where Kinne is being held for observation. Kentfield was discharged. Trooper Zehr said only one driver wore a seatbelt
