Cambridge Saturday night

On an "Old-Fashioned Saturday Night" in downtown Cambridge, nearly 700 people visited, ate hotdogs and listened to live music. Activities were designed to mimic a Saturday night 50 or more years ago, when families went into town or downtown to do their shopping. The turnout pleased coordinator Jackie Johnson. Chuck Gufford drove people around in his collectible Corvair (above), and Roy Patterson pulled a hayrack with Ed Kester's 1944 Farmall tractor. The 6&34 Polka Band (right) played on Main Street, while old friends visited and caught up on the latest news.
