Indianola artist exhibits at Lincoln Federal

Claire Uerling of Indianola has six pieces of art on display at Lincoln Federal Savings Bank, 211 Norris Avenue.

Uerling paints action and still life settings from photos or things from everyday life, preferring oils or watercolor.

She selected nature scenes for the bank display, featureing her interpretations of the Grand Canyon and Yosemite National Forrest.

Her paintings will be at Lincoln Federal through the month of January. The banks hours are 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

"Elegance" depicts a farmer and his dog working in a field. The watercolor painting utilizes many different hues.
