Deadline: Birth announcements run throughout the week on the Local page when space is available.

Copy information: The paper reserves the right to edit copy and determine the length of the story.

Photos: If you would like to include a photo, the Gazette requests a high quality black and white or color photo. If you have an electronic copy of the photo, you can upload it using the form below, or send it as an attachment to reporter@mccookgazette.com. (Preferred format is .jpg).

Otherwise, send it by postal mail to: Local Editor; P.O. Box 1268; McCook, NE 69001. It must be picked up within one month of publication. It will be mailed only if accompanied by an appropriately-sized, self-addressed, stamped envelop.
