What a 'Koi Kitty', this one has been made out to be! Appearantly you can customize your kitties too, who would've thunk it?...

That's what our production manager, Lloyd Shields said about these Caramel-Pecan Cheesecake Bars. I used "real" everything in them, (vanilla, butter...) so they were just as decadent in calorie content as they what they were in flavor. These were easy, and fun to make!...
The first time I made this recipe I doubled it. (and then shot it off in an e-mail to anyone and everyone I thought would love a cheap, fast, easy meat entree that basically cooks itself). I revisited this last night only I used a pork shoulder roast rather than the ribs. (It was FANTASTIC!) I'll be enjoying pulled BBQ Pork sandwiches for lunch today, as an added bonus! =)...

Waii Wrap... I clocked out Friday afternoon heading for my weekend, thinking I was "forgetting" something. Between sweat drenched mowing and sweet ice water breaks on Saturday I "remembered" what that something was. I'd forgotten to post a cheap, fast, easy recipe for my Friday post. ...
I was channel surfing last night & hit gold. It's a short run around the remote as I pull in 5 channels tops. (Even then, it has to be a good night when there's not too much semi traffic rolling by on HWY 83 - they somehow tend to bounce the good TV signals away from my antenna - leaving me with static, noise or blank screen sets.) anywho... ...
I liked this little nugget enough to gleen it from this morning's incoming e-mails and share it here, with you: "Only an Open Heart will catch a dream... & there are enough stars in the universe to make any wish come true." . . . Note to self: Ordinary PEOPLE, doing the very best they can, whenever and wherever they can, with all that they've been given - stopping along the way to smell the flowers and give help, one to another... are truly, stars in the universe...
I like to joke that, the recipe book I'd love, love, LOVE to write someday would be titled: "Cheap, Fast & Easy", because, we are, after all is said and done, what we eat. =) (insert silly grin here) I've been thinking that Friday would be a good day of the week to post just such favorites of mine - or new ones that I'd like to try - because that gives me (and any of you, dear friends and neighbors) the weekend to test drive them...

It's a nice maxim to memorize - a good rule of thumb to reflect on… So much of what we desire most in life is only obtained after a certain price has been paid --...

For those of you new to the idea of 'blog' the term is a noun, descriptive of a Web Log or online journal. (web+log = weblog ... "we-blog" get it? =) ...or... just plain "blog" for short.) But, (ahem) I digress... Back to the topic at hand - passion!...
