What I'm Missin'Posted Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at 7:02 PM
Mmm.
This brings a variety of feelings from elation to sorrow. I have a lot of history in this place and I'm always deeply sad to see it go but find that the thrill of adventure consoles my phantom limbs slightly. Aside from family and friends, a thing I miss greatly is FOOD. Yes, I've always been quite partial to certain beverages and delicious delights that I simply can't get in China that I thought I would share with you. These are things I've committed to eat at least once while I came back and things that you should stare at for a great while. Stare at them and thank Uncle Sam that you can have these things whenever you like whilst I dream of them like sugarplums in an infants' Christmas Eve dream. Drinks that I can't get in China:
Foods that I can't get in China:
and finally, Cereal. Enjoy and count yourself lucky. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

Hey Nate! Wish I would've been in McCook while you were back...it's been a long time! Hope you've had a nice time back in the states!
Think about it, Nate. You are going back to a system where most of the food is healthy. You are just leaving behind, mostly, 'junk food.'
Have a great experience in China, again.
Respectfully, Arley Steinhour
Healthy is better, it's true. But it's damn good!
