Relay

OK... now is the time.

Tonight is the Furnas County Relay For Life. I've written about it before, and now is the time for you to act. You've got nothing better to do tonight than to show up at the Cambridge track (Clint John Field) on the north side of town and help support the American Cancer Society and their fight against cancer.

I'll be there starting at 7PM so look for me and my hat and say "howdy!"

What? You say you already have plans? Well then why not make a donation to Margie's effort to support cancer research by making a donation here... http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?pg=pfi...

When it asks for a participants name, put in Margery Hoag and make any donation you can. You never know, the donation you make today may be the straw of research funds that breaks the back of cancer.

Actually, I said I was disappointed. Red Willow County and McCook didn't support their own Relay For Life, so I was hoping a few more of our western neighbors would support the Relay in Furnas County.

Those of you that did support the Relay in Furnas County, we appreciate the help you gave us to help further the fight against cancer.

You seemed upset last time it came around that you didn't get the support you felt you should. I just wanted to let you know that I emotionally and spiritually support your efforts, even if I an not able to support them in a more tangible manner. Don't wear yourself out walking! :)

Good luck with the Relay Brian, please don't take offense that I will neither be attending nor supporting financially the effort. Although cancer is a terrible disease, I have other groups that take priority for my limited time and funds.
