"Strike One!"
Most of you know that I'm a Denver Broncos fan. Ouch! What a beating at the hands of the most hated of Bronco opponents ... the Raiders. 59-14 was the final score for those of you that don't know. What? You can't read the score? Oh bummer! Well believe me when I say it was a blowout and then some for the Broncos. Pro sports seldom have scores like that, and even more seldom does the team I root for experience the bottom end of the rout so I guess I'll live.

For those of you baseball fans, the playoffs are over and it's time for the World Series. Ah, Mighty Casey. There is a story worth remembering, for the lesson it provides.

It was used on us, as children, many years ago, and worked on most of us.
