Screamer

I've mentioned my devotion to the Denver Bronco football team once or twice around here. It's probably a good thing we live out in the country as we've been known to scream at our TV rooting our team on. Disturbing the peace comes to mind as a possible outcome if we did live in town the way we exercise our vocal cords during football season.

I guess I have mentioned once or twice that I love football, so of course my favorite college team would be the Cornhuksers. I've been known to scream at my TV trying to add my voice to Husker Nation too.

I admit it, I scream for my teams. I screamed last night for Nebraska... until I went to bed at the end of the 3rd quarter. Duhhh.... umbbbbbb! (In the voice of Jimmy Johnson's beer commercial of a couple years ago).

Last night, I was tired, it was raining, and I didn't see how the Huskers could pull out a victory being down 12-0 going into the fourth quarter. They just didn't have it last night... UNTIL I WENT TO BED!

Dang, now I'll have to watch for a replay of the game to watch that final 15 minutes of football where Big Red scores 27 points. Who out there REALLY believed our guys would pull that game out? Well, from now on, I won't be one of the sleepy ones that turns off the game in time to find out the next day that one of the most unlikely of finishes occured right after I turned off the TV.

After all those years of watching the Broncos pull out a victory, you'd think I'd have learned by now that any team can do it... Duh-uummmb!

Brian, Read my lips: Reeeecooorrrdddeeerrr! If you are right and nothing happens, you delete the recording, and pretend you are smart enough to quit early (except, early quit is a #1 Nebraska sin, be it spectator, or player). Hmmmm. You-Bad.

Better smarts next time.

Huskerpedia.com has DVD's of the game for sale.

Must admit I wasn't expecting the comeback they had, was just hoping they could score a couple T.D.'s and make it close.

Oh, but how sweet it was!

Suh should be considered for the Heisman.

I will join the cries of SUH FOR HEISMAN!!! we need to get that chant started next game throughout the stadium that should get media attention

Navyblue - More dumbness on my part... I don't have a recorder anymore. We changed out the old VCR a few years back for a DVD/VCP(player) since we had both and were living in the motor home at the time. Other than THIS occasion, I have not needed another but I guess I better reconsider...

Suh reminds me a little of Warren Sapp when he played in Florida. Most Nebraska fans recall the havock that one man wrecking crew displayed to us a few years back. Suh is doing much the same thing for us now and deserves all the recognition he gets and more. What a talent and I agree... SUH FOR THE HEISMAN!!!!
