  • Slicker,

You would make a great roving reporter -- Possibly freelancing to the Denver Post, Lincoln Journal, Cheyenne, Omaha, Salina, Wichita, K.C. and other dailies.

You are seeing that world with fresh eyes and an open mind and a reporters' curiosity.

That makes producing feature stores fun, and with the internet and digital cameras -- it is so much easier than when I drove 5,000 miles monthly and spent hours in the darkroom.

Particularly when a part-timer messed around with my camera in the very early morning hours taking special photos of a girl friend and jamming a sheet of film in the bellows.

Wrecked about 40 shots for me the next 18 hour day across northwestern Kansas.
