Fridley Theatres Online 3D PetitionPosted Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at 8:18 PM
I understand that Fridley Theatres can't convert everything over to the latest and greatest without issue, so it seems that they could use some motivation to do something with the McCook Cinema 3 instead of one of thier other theatres. Thus, I present to you - the online petition to show Fridley Theatres that the people of McCook and the surrounding communities have a strong desire to see 3D shows at our home theatre. I love going to the movies and I have gone to many places to see shows but nothing beats the comfort of going to my home theatre and if it was able to offer me 3D as well, then I wouldn't have to make the trip to North Platte or Oberlin to see the newest flicks in the newest 3D format. Some of you that might not have experienced the new 3D technology that burst into extreme popularity with 'Avatar' are probably thinking about red and blue cardboard glasses that never quite worked right, but you are thinking wrong! The new 3D is amazingly clear, doesn't hurt the eyes, glasses are somewhat comfortable, no red and blue lenses and the best part is that it actually feels 3D! I wasn't a fan of 3D until I broke down and watched Avatar in 3D when it came out and I have completely changed my mind on the new 3D technology and I know you will too if you haven't already converted to a fan of 3D shows. The comments on this blog will be designed as our online petition to say 'HEY FRIDLEY THEATRES! LOOK AT US! WE WANT 3D!' and I will make sure that it gets forwarded on to the appropriate guys at the head offices in Iowa so the next time they are thinking about upgrading one of thier many wonderful theatres to 3D, they will give us a good chance at getting a 3D theatre. Wanna contact Fridley seperately? Check the website out at http://www.fridleytheatres.com and while you are there check the showtimes! So what are you waiting for? COMMENT! McCook Cinema 3 should be converted to 3D. What a great experience!
Please, please, PLEASE convert McCook's Cinema 3 to 3D! We would greatly appreciate it!
Yes, Cinema 3 needs updated. We are so lucky to have a theater in McCook, but the movie experience would be much greater with 3D and even an updated seating.
