Bride Wars - Hotel for Dogs - JetsonsPosted Monday, April 27, 2009, at 11:55 AM
After a little break I should be back in movie reviewing form...
Last week, we missed a few flicks, mainly Frost/Nixon and The Wrestler. Both were extremely good flicks and should be checked out. I give them both an enthusiastic thumbs up.
This week, we've got total crap in Hotel for Dogs. I did not like this movie and don't recommend it, however kids love it because of all the dogs. It's cheap entertainment for the little ones so that's good but otherwise it is not worth the time.
Bride Wars This one isn't half bad - I watched it in theatres and my opinion stays roughly the same - check out the review at http://www.mccookgazette.com/story/14929....
And now, for something completely different...or somewhat the same. I've decided to start reviewing older or odd movies throughout my weekly reviews of new releases. I won't always find obscure or older movies that I should review so please make suggestions in the comments. I will start the 'old' reviews next week with a blockbuster title that everyone should find a way to watch, but be careful as it is in a foreign language and that turns a few people off.
Next week, we've got The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. And did I mention that The Jetsons Movie is out on DVD! SWEET! |
