2012 Closing Prayer
2012 Closing Prayer
By Arley Steinhour 123112
It's time for me to go to bed,
That place where I lay down my head,
To pass away this last day night,
To hide in slumber from its fright.
When I awake, New Year begun,
My total focus is on God, the Son,
The time is short, when Bridegroom calls,
Shofar, and voice, that'll shake the walls.
How many more days must sunshine pass,
Before your Bride is Raptured, head of class,
To Wedding Feast, of Seven Years,
Pure Joy, only, with no more tears.
If only all would turn to you,
Satan's rule would be through,
Alas, that seems, not the case,
Still there's Sin in Human Race.
When time be right, known by you,
You snatch the Bride, into the Blue,
Those 'Left Behind,' have Great Delusion,
Your Love for man, allows 'No Intrusion.'
So, Happy New Year, Father God,
As, into Two Thousand Thirteen, we plod,
When we awake, what can we say,
All things, Your Will, Your Glory, Your Way.
AMEN
