Good Morning God
Good Morning God
By Arley Steinhour 060712
Dear, Father God,
This morning, as your Sun rose,
So did my lid of eye,
My heart gave birth to praying prose,
As I looked up at the sky.
'Good-Morning' prayer began to flow,
Softly crossing lips, to start,
Love emotion did wax and grow,
From my overflowing heart.
With new strength, I cast my seed,
Glorified, in my Praise to you,
Hoping you will find a need,
In a barren heart, longing to be true.
I pray your Blessing on my day,
My thoughts, my words, my deed,
That I may serve you any way,
As you fill my every mortal need.
I lift my friends and family clan,
Who suffer in loss and pain,
If not needed to your perfect plan,
You reach out with healing rain.
Wash their loss and pain away,
So they know your Seal of Love,
Strengthening, Faith resolve, today,
To keep their focus on You, above.
Short, the season, left to man,
To reconcile, eternally, with you,
So, in your never ending plan,
Cleansed and Perfect, we be, TRUE.
AMEN
