Seeds Die and Multiply
Seeds Die and Multiply
By Arley Steinhour 053011
This day be the Thirtieth
The Thirtieth of May
Memorial day we honor
Honored dead, near, and far away.
Some will do as yesteryear
Family grave-sites decorate
Trusting that in far off land
Other Countries participate.
Focus mostly shifted
To the Veteran who has died
Serving Freedoms call for them
Somewhere in Far Off Country-side.
War seems to show it's ugly face
When peoples can't get along
Someone out to enslave Other Folks
and that folks, is 'So Wrong.'
Jesus said that 'Seed must die'
and germinate, to obtain a crop
Producing the many seeds needed
So Freedom's fare will never Stop
Freedom has that seed price
Where many sometimes die
Resulting in a Blessed field
Free Family and Friends the yield.
Today our nation is in a fight
To establish Christian right
To allow our folk and others
To Live and Worship as they might.
Sadly some people see this war
As a rich man making money
Without support of every one
Freedom's future isn't Sunny.
Enough of that oration
If you don't know, you never will
Freedom isn't Free at all
The Price, a very sour pill.
If nothing else is on your plate
Except fantastic Bar-Be-Que
Please take about a second of time
Thank God for what Veterans did for you.
AMEN
