Growing Mortal Love
Growing Mortal Love
by Arley Steinhour 030311
Expressing loving feelings, sometimes fails to fill the need,
But, expressing even something, plants in heart God-given seed.
Some people say it better, when expressing 'I love you,'
Some people say it deeper, with a touch or look, but just a few.
Loving words flow smooth and warm, for mending another's heart-pain,
Repairing all the wounded spots, like washing with God's Healing Rain.
How many times would 'I Love You,' heal a wound not very deep,
that could have healed that scratch, that into heart did creep .
To many times we hold Love back, showing loved-ones who be boss,
But, every time we ever do, we're the receiver, of that projected loss.
So pass along an heartfelt wish, an offer of mortal love,
and don't forget to include our God, who Loves from up above.
Mortal love is the only love, that can be increased every week,
God already loves us so much, on Cross, He gave us Eternal peek.
So even though you have my love, each and every one,
Add another layer, baking in, with Spirit Flame, through God The Son.
AMEN
