Prevent Sin Malaise
Prevent Sin Malaise
By Arley Steinhour 120517
As my Bills arrive,
I try to pay, next day,
To keep, accounts Alive,
As my age is turning Gray.
Much like ‘Prayer to Jesus,’
Not to ‘Err, Stumble, nor Fall,’
When ‘He comes to Snatch-Us,’
‘Names are Written upon His Wall.’
‘Leaving Behind,’ a ‘Slate that’s Clean,’
I Pray that ‘Few will Miss our ‘Departure,’
Except them that ‘Live life, just to be Mean,’
‘Left Behind’ as Targets, of ‘White-Horse Archer.’
We ‘Celebrate “Emanuel’s” Birth,’
And We ‘Worship, His Departure,’
In ‘Birth,’ Jesus Brought ‘GOD to Earth,’
Redeeming, from the Cross, to Nurture.’
Likely, His Birth was on ‘Rosh Hashanah,’
We celebrate Him, near ‘Winter Solstice,’
He turns ‘Sin-mountains, into a Savana,’
Justifying God’s Requisite, ‘Perfect Justice.’
The ‘Law,’ now, resides ‘Beneath our Feet,’
To make the ‘Path Smoother to Trod,’
Unto ‘Graduation,’ with Heaven, Replete,
With all the ‘Rewards, and Blessings of GOD.’
This Christmas, Call’s you, to Repent your Ways,
‘Celebrate, as a REBORN,’ from Sin-filled Days,
Be, ‘Filled with the Spirit,’ to ‘Sing God’s Praise,’
Disciple God/Jesus, to ‘Prevent Sin Malaise.’
AMEN
