His Wedding Offer
His Redemptive Offer
By Arley Steinhour 120616
It seems, about this Time of Year,
My eyes find it easy, to shed a tear,
The Joy of the Season, pressing near,
Yet, there's so many, living in Fear.
Fear of hunger, fear of cold,
Fear of dying, is ever near,
Where some, don't fit the mold,
Tyrants leave them Dead and Cold.
Tis-the-Season, to Celebrate Jesus' Birth,
'The One,' who came to Live, and Die,
To, Redeem all Sinners from Satan's Berth
As, Messiah, who Cleans Soul, to Fly.
Until, He comes, to Snatch His Bride,
Like a Thief, who prowls, in the Night,
Without warning, unless, eye's are open Wide,
In Expectation, of His call, to Take Flight.
When will this happen, you want to know,
In the 'Twinkle of Eye,' When, He Calls,
That, Day and Hour, none wants to Forego,
Leaving 'Unsaved,' outside Heaven's Walls.
The Price is Right, to Win the 'Sin-Fight,'
Repent, and Accept, His Redemptive Offer;
Then, you can join, the 'Home Coming Flight,'
Don't Reject, Accept, Jesus' Wedding Proffer.
AMEN
