STAND STILL
STAND STILL
By Arley Steinhour 011116
We walk this mortal life, of ours,
For years and years, so many hours,
With only one thing upon our mind,
Where is the 'Happiness,' I can't find?
We look to the Left, and then the Right,
Froward, and Backward, and see only Blight,
Nothing can lift us to a Rapturous State,
For the Good Times, we see, we are too late.
Sadness, and mourning, corrupts our heart,
When, all things, attempted, falls apart,
We weep, in our sorrow, it seems to no end,
But, we still seek, on our life road, another bend.
They, who 'Stand Still,' and seek, with heart's eye,
Eventually, will look up, into God's Blue Sky,
Crying out, is such pain, find what they seek,
Their God, and Redeemer, coming, so meek.
He doesn't come shouting, only softly to call,
All of His Children, who's been nailed to the wall,
With nowhere to escape, we remember his prayer,
'Our Father, in Heaven,' we pray, 'Are, you, still there?'
Then, Great Love and Warmness, will fill the heart,
Always ready, and waiting, till you do your part,
Repent of your Sin, and accept Him to preside,
Over your everything, in His Light, nothing to hide.
Accept 'Justification,' and your Sin be no more,
Satan, has, literally, been shoved Out the Door,
For Ever, and Ever, we Disciple Jesus' Way,
For Ever, and Ever, throughout Eternal Day.
AMEN
