Poem of Blathers
Poem of Blathers
By Arley Steinhour 091716
I sit here today, with nothing to say,
So, whatever I write will be blather.
I open my heart for Spirit to play,
Who knows, my thoughts, He might gather.
Great weight on the heart, from news on the Web,
Bad things occurring, like, teen-age girl kills mother,
Here in the USA, our Freedoms, continue to Ebb,
War rampant; brother against brother, and every other.
Now, I feel better, having vented my soul,
Prophecy tells us, we enter, Time of Tribulation,
Of, Pestilence, and War, much death taking toll,
We must rekindle our lamp, for Church Evacuation.
Sadly so many utter, a big, 'Ho-Hum, amen,'
Sidling away, toward the double 'Exit -- Door,'
'It will be a long time before we see Him, again,'
Most leave through the 'Right door,' and seen no more.
Brothers and sisters, lift each other's spirit,
Like you have, by reading my poem of blathers,
Soon, we'll be taken, to Place we call 'Home,'
Anywhere with Jesus, as always, my 'Druthers.'
AMEN
