WAKE UP
WAKE UP
By Arley Steinhour 031015
I find great joy in waking, just before the Sun,
Where darkness quickly loses nighttime's bite,
Still in warmth of bed, I call upon the Son,
To bless this day; and all I do, that's right.
With song in heart, and shine in eye,
Raising on each daily, walk with Him,
May I leave a footprint, enough to espy,
That others might Repent, and 'Sin-Sail' trim.
The joy, of heart, that tends to flow,
Gilds the path, for a lost soul to follow,
We learn from stumbles as we go,
To change 'Hiss of snake,' to 'Coo of swallow.'
They that heed Jesus' call, from the Cross,
Where He took on himself the Sins of Man,
Our Redemption is Free, no Eternal Loss,
Past, present, future, all of time to span.
Time is short, before Jesus returns,
To Snatch away, His Church, and Bride,
That all would 'chose', for this He yearns,
But, some won't wake up, or they'll hide.
AMEN
